A compounding pharmacy in Tampa, FL is seeking two experienced Pharmacists to support their sterile compounding operations on a temporary basis. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with shifts running from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., working 4 to 5 days per week. The assignment is on a week-to-week basis with potential to extend up to several months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense sterile compounded medications in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Review prescriptions and compound medications accurately according to protocols
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain a smooth workflow
- Provide expert guidance on sterile compounding procedures
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Florida pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience specifically in sterile compounding pharmacy practice
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
