A compounding pharmacy in Tampa, FL is seeking a knowledgeable pharmacist to support sterile compounding operations on a contract basis. This role offers an opportunity to apply your skills in a specialized pharmacy setting while working a flexible schedule within a well-established team.
Location: Tampa, FL
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Optional Saturday or Sunday shift with a weekday day off, based on availability
- Approximately 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile compounding duties adhering to quality and safety standards
- Accurately prepare, label, and dispense compounded medications
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain detailed documentation and support inventory management
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and team members
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida pharmacist license
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in sterile compounding pharmacy practice
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
