Seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support retail and compounding operations with a focus on accuracy and safety. This per diem position is based in Tazewell, VA, and involves working Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities include verifying retail prescriptions with a strong attention to detail, performing calculations related to non-sterile compounding formulas, and ensuring that all medications meet quality standards. The role requires familiarity with Pioneer RX order entry system and the ability to work efficiently in a retail and compounding environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Virginia pharmacy license
• Experience in retail pharmacy essential
• Non-sterile compounding experience is highly desirable
• Competence in mathematical calculations related to compounding formulas
• Comfortable performing retail checks; limited counseling required
