This opportunity is for a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist position based in Tazewell, VA, ideal for experienced pharmacists seeking a flexible schedule with a focused role in a retail and compounding environment.

Schedule:

• Fridays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct retail prescription checks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Verify non-sterile compounded formulations, requiring precise mathematical calculations.
• Manage and oversee the retail prescription queue.
• Utilize Pioneer RX software for order entry and verification.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia pharmacy license.
• Proven retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience or familiarity with non-sterile compounding is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to pharmaceutical compounding.

Work Environment:
