A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in the greater Phoenix, AZ area to support a growing team serving a food and pharmacy setting. This per diem role is ideal for pharmacists seeking part-time work—2 to 4 days per week—with flexible hours designed to cover vacations, call-outs, and volume spikes during graduation, summer, and holiday seasons.

Operations typically run Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations closing at 8 p.m. Average prescription volume ranges between 100 to 125 per day. Strong technician support is provided at most stores; however, some smaller sites operate with pharmacist-only coverage, emphasizing the importance of proactive training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently to meet customer needs
• Provide exceptional patient counseling and ensure compliance with regulations
• Administer immunizations as authorized under pharmacy privileges
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare staff
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of QS1 pharmacy software and other relevant systems
• Participate in designated training sessions to ensure readiness for varied pharmacy environments

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Arizona pharmacy license with no restrictions
