Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Texhoma, Texas

A per diem opportunity is available for a travel pharmacist to support a rural community health center pharmacy in Texhoma, TX, from July 15th through July 31st. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with community or retail pharmacy experience seeking a focused assignment with a predictable schedule and no weekend hours.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
• No weekend shifts

Location:
Texhoma, TX – Rural setting serving predominantly patients over 50 years old

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide patient counseling to support medication adherence and health outcomes
• Manage and supervise two experienced pharmacy technicians
• Utilize the Liberty pharmacy system to maintain prescription records

Qualifications:

• Active, clear Texas pharmacist license required
• Prior experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Ability to work independently in a small pharmacy setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions

Additional Information:

• Prescription volume runs approximately 120-130 scripts per day
• The pharmacy team includes two skilled pharmacy technicians
