Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Texhoma, TX

Serve as a Pharmacist in a rural community health center located in Texhoma, TX, providing essential pharmaceutical care to a predominantly senior patient population. This Per Diem role offers the opportunity to work in a close-knit environment, supporting patients primarily over the age of 50 with a focus on personalized service and patient counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescription orders to ensure patient safety and compliance.
• Deliver patient counseling and education to improve medication adherence and outcomes.
• Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and accuracy.
• Utilize the Liberty pharmacy system to process approximately 120-130 prescriptions daily.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekend hours

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license required.
• Previous experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and team coordination.
