Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Texhoma, Texas

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available at a rural community health center supporting an aging patient population primarily over 50 years old. The pharmacy fills approximately 120-130 prescriptions daily and operates with a dedicated team including two experienced technicians.

Schedule & Hours:

• 1st shift, Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekend hours

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling focused on community health needs
• Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Utilize Liberty pharmacy system to process prescriptions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Clear and active Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage technicians effectively

• Assignment term: July 15th through July 31st
