Inpatient Staff Pharmacist | Tijeras, New Mexico

A hospital inpatient pharmacist opportunity is available for an overnight 7-on/7-off shift from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM in Tijeras, NM. This contract role offers a chance to contribute to patient care at two hospital campuses, supporting both Women’s and Westside facilities. Start date is September 28, with a 13-week duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee inpatient pharmacy operations during the overnight shift.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.
• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) for patient medication records and documentation.
• Support both Women’s and Westside hospital campuses as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience required.
• Must hold or be eligible for a New Mexico pharmacist license; candidates with license pending are encouraged to apply as NM licensure can be obtained within 10 days.
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
