Inpatient Staff Pharmacist in Tijeras, NM

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as an inpatient pharmacist supporting a 315-bed medical center located in Tijeras, NM. This contract role offers an opportunity to utilize your hospital pharmacy expertise within a dynamic healthcare environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, dispense, and review medications for inpatient use.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
• Monitor patient responses and provide recommendations for therapeutic adjustments.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives and compliance with hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and staff on medication use as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico pharmacist license required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings.
• Strong knowledge of hospital formulary and inpatient medication management.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Schedule:

• Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Every other weekend coverage

Contract Duration:

• 13 weeks, starting March 10
