An immediate opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist at a site near Lawrence, KS, offering a direct hire position. This role requires a licensed pharmacist ready to contribute their expertise to long-term care and clinical pharmacy operations. The position offers a structured work schedule with shift flexibility and participation in on-call rotations.

Location:

• Near Lawrence, KS (Lenexa area)

Schedule/Hours:

• Shift options: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Flexibility to work both shifts required
• On-call rotation participation expected

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient verification (PV1) for medication orders
• Perform accurate order entry and thorough clinical review
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal pharmacotherapy
• Utilize the Frameworks system for daily pharmacy operations

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Kansas pharmacist license in hand (required)
• Prior experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy strongly preferred
• Alternatively, experience as a retail pharmacist with medication therapy management (MTM) exposure may be considered
• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
• Ability to adapt to varied shift schedules and provide on-call support
