This contract role starts on September 21 and extends for approximately 13 weeks. The position requires working a mix of day and evening shifts with rotating weekends, offering dynamic scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee typical inpatient pharmacist duties including medication verification and dispensing
  • Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality in medication management
  • Support healthcare team with clinical pharmacy expertise to optimize patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
  • Valid Kansas pharmacist license must be held at the time of application
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
