Long Term Care Staff Pharmacist - Topeka, KS

A closed-door pharmacy in Topeka, KS seeks a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position starting immediately. This role offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Saturday rotation, supporting long-term care medication needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and check stat medications, Ekits, and blister pack medications accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure operational excellence.
• Review and check intravenous (IV) preparations for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain workflow pace to meet production goals specific to long-term care pharmacy operations.

Desired Experience:

• Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of the workflow and pace.
• Candidates transitioning from retail pharmacy with a positive attitude and ability to maintain pace are encouraged to apply.
• Current Kansas pharmacy license in-hand required.
