Per Diem Pharmacist in Torrance, CA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care on a per diem basis. This role offers the flexibility to support pharmacy operations during regular business hours in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You will work alongside one pharmacy technician, managing a daily prescription volume of 60-70 to maintain smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist License is required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems; experience with Datascan is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
