Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Torrance, CA

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting, offering a flexible per diem position in Torrance, CA. This role is ideal for a licensed California pharmacist seeking to provide quality patient care in a manageable volume environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately dispensing approximately 60-70 prescriptions daily
• Collaborating with a pharmacy technician to ensure efficient workflow
• Managing medication inventories and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Providing patient counseling and answering medication-related questions
• Utilizing pharmacy systems such as Datascan (training provided; prior experience not required)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Flexible per diem availability
