Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Torrance, California

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist role in a retail pharmacy setting located in Torrance, CA. The position is per diem with a start date of May 18, offering flexibility to work on an as-needed basis.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Daily prescription volume ranges between 60-70, supported by a team consisting of one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician. Experience using Datascan is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Verifying drug orders and patient information to ensure safety and compliance
• Counseling patients on medication use and potential side effects
• Collaborating with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and ensure high customer service standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure in California
• Some pharmacy experience preferred to confidently manage prescription volume
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
