Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Torrance, CA

An opening for a per diem staff pharmacist is available in a retail pharmacy setting in Torrance, CA. This role supports daily pharmacy operations, working alongside one pharmacist and one technician in a location processing approximately 60-70 prescriptions per day. Schedule/Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Per diem / PRN basis

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications for a moderate volume of prescriptions daily.
• Provide patient counseling and advice on proper medication use.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to maintain seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.
• Use pharmacy systems such as Datascan (experience preferred but not required).

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Valid California pharmacist license required.
• Prior experience working in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
