Staff Pharmacist | Traverse City, Michigan

A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacist for a contract position with potential for direct hire. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment, serving a diverse patient population and utilizing industry-standard systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on proper usage.
• Manage prescription orders utilizing RX 30 software (training provided if needed).
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and handle insurance processing efficiently.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Michigan pharmacy license.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with RX 30 software is a plus, but training is available.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
