Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Tucker, Georgia

A well-established group of independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable pharmacist for a per diem role with growth potential into a part-time floater position. This opportunity allows you to support a family of four pharmacy locations, providing critical retail pharmacy services and engaging with a diverse patient population.

Location:

• Tucker, GA, with coverage across four regional pharmacy sites

Schedule:

• Initial per diem hours covering one site, transitioning to 30-35 hours weekly across all pharmacies
• Typical shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage primary retail pharmacy duties including dispensing and counseling
• Handle specialty medications and packaging for mail and courier delivery
• Float between multiple pharmacy locations, ensuring consistent quality service
• Interact with a diverse range of patients, assisting with medication needs and questions
• Utilize PrimeRX software (experience preferred) to maintain accurate records and workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and medication dispensing
• Ability to adapt to a multi-site floater role with flexible scheduling
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Prior experience with specialty medications and pharmacy software like PrimeRX is a plus
