Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Tucker, GA

A growing pharmacy group is seeking a skilled pharmacist to provide per diem support initially at one location, with the potential to expand into a part-time floater role covering multiple pharmacy sites across the Atlanta metro area. This opportunity allows for hands-on involvement in retail pharmacy operations within an independent and family-owned group of pharmacies.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines
• Provide professional counseling and advice to patients regarding medication usage
• Manage daily retail pharmacy tasks, including prescription verification, inventory management, and customer service
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting, preferably with PrimeRX software
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple locations as the role expands

Location:

• Position based in the Atlanta metro area, beginning in Tucker, GA with coverage across up to four pharmacy locations

Schedule:

• Per diem hours, typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Potential to grow into a floater position working 30-35 hours per week across several locations
