Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Tucker, Georgia

A per diem pharmacist position is available to provide essential support across four independently owned retail pharmacy locations within the Atlanta metro area. This opportunity begins as a PRN role covering one site, with the possibility to expand into a part-time floater position working up to 30-35 hours per week across the pharmacy family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense 100-150 prescriptions daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations
• Perform primary retail pharmacy duties including patient counseling, prescription verification, and inventory management
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Utilize pharmacy software, preferably PrimeRX, to manage prescription processing efficiently

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist eligible to practice in Georgia
• Previous experience in retail pharmacy operations
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, PrimeRX experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment across multiple locations

Location:

• Tucker, GA, with duties spanning up to four nearby pharmacy sites within the Atlanta metropolitan area

Schedule/Hours:

• Per diem with initial hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling as role potentially expands to cover multiple locations part-time (up to 30-35 hours weekly)
