Support a team of pharmacists providing essential pharmacy services across several locations in the Tucson area. This per diem opportunity involves covering shifts during call outs, vacations, or spikes in prescription volume, ensuring continuous, high-quality patient care.

Location:

• Tucson, AZ and surrounding areas within commutable distance.

Schedule:

• Pharmacy operations generally run Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m.
• Flexible availability needed to cover 2-4 days per week as demand requires.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications safely and accurately in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacist-only sites where necessary.
• Maintain immunization privileges and BLS certification while delivering patient care.
• Complete one 8-hour training shift initially, with additional training available.
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software to support dispensing and workflow.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a retail pharmacy environment; 5+ years preferred.
• Active Arizona pharmacist license with no restrictions.
• Immunization privilege and valid BLS card required.
• Familiarity with QS1 software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and respond flexibly to schedule changes.
