Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Tucson, AZ

Support a dynamic pharmacy team as a per diem staff pharmacist, contributing to seamless pharmacy operations. Situated in Tucson, AZ, this role involves forming a team of 2-3 pharmacists ready to provide reliable coverage for call outs, vacations, and volume fluctuations. Schedule & Hours:

• Pharmacy operates Monday through Saturday, typically from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Some locations may extend hours to 8 p.m.
• Per diem shifts may vary; hours cannot be guaranteed but typically range from 2-4 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical care during coverage shifts, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction
• Collaborate with varying pharmacy teams, including sites with strong technician support and pharmacist-only locations
• Engage in a dedicated 8-hour training shift with additional training available as needed to ensure readiness
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and workflow
• Administer immunizations as certified and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
• Maintain current BLS certification and uphold best practices in patient care

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Immunization privileges and active BLS certification required
• Experience with QS1 software is an asset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, adaptable to different pharmacy environments
