Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Tulsa, Oklahoma

A hospital inpatient pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract beginning October 5th. This role offers an engaging opportunity to support pharmacy operations at a busy medical center with 450 beds, serving patients with comprehensive inpatient care. The schedule consists of 4x10-hour shifts, covering days and evenings from 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., providing a balanced yet dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including preparation and verification of IV medications.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure accurate dispensing and distribution.
• Utilize EMR systems such as EPIC for medication orders and documentation.
• Work with automation technologies including Pyxis and Carousel to enhance medication management.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience, including hands-on IV preparation.
• Current pharmacy license for Oklahoma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and pharmacy automation systems.
• Candidates must be first-time travelers or reside more than 75 miles from the location.
