Staff Pharmacist in Ventura, CA

An opportunity is available for two Staff Pharmacists to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a medical center in Ventura County. This full-time role offers a dynamic schedule primarily consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, with variable shift times including swing shifts, some weekends, and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities include dispensing and reviewing medications, ensuring patient safety through accurate medication management, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. This position involves working within an inpatient setting, requiring attention to detail and strong clinical knowledge.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Previous inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is a plus; training available if needed
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and multitasking skills

Schedule:

• Full-time, primarily 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Variable shift assignments including swing shifts, weekends, and holidays
