A retail pharmacy seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team in Vestal, NY, focusing on delivering quality pharmaceutical care and managing daily operations. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a 36-hour workweek and an engaging schedule that offers a variety of weekday and weekend hours.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control pharmaceutical inventories by tracking weekly sales and ordering stock to meet customer needs and maximize profitability.
- Prepare and dispense prescription and non-prescription medications accurately by weighing, measuring, and mixing compounds as required.
- Provide patient counseling on medication use and self-medication advice, maintaining clear communication with healthcare and insurance professionals.
- Administer patient immunizations as part of routine service offerings.
- Act in a leadership capacity in the pharmacy manager’s absence by scheduling staff, managing performance, and assigning duties to support pharmacy operations and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Active New York State Pharmacist license.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage inventory and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach.
- Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred.
