A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to join their team for a contract assignment of 4 to 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension. This role is ideal for a pharmacist skilled in verifying compounds and sterile injectables within a high-volume environment, looking to contribute to a specialized pharmacy setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense compounded medications, including sterile injectables, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Manage a high volume of prescriptions while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
• Support the compounding team by applying expert knowledge of sterile preparation techniques

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Pharmacy License is required
• Proven pharmacy experience, specifically with injectables and compounding
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
