Staff Pharmacist

PHARMACIST — CONTRACT TO HIRE

We’re seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week opportunity with potential for permanent hire. Retail pharmacists are welcome, and training will be provided for candidates transitioning into this setting.

Requirements:

• Active NC Pharmacist License in hand

• Pharmacist experience required

• Retail pharmacists welcome

• Willingness to learn PV1 and PV2 workflows

Responsibilities:

• Review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications

• Verify prescriptions and ensure medication safety

• Provide medication counseling and answer drug-related questions

• Monitor medication use and identify potential drug-related issues

• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff

• Maintain medication inventory and pharmacy records

• Follow applicable pharmacy laws and regulations

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Rotating Saturdays

• 13-week contract with potential permanent placement
