Travel Staff Pharmacist in Wausau, WI

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Wisconsin at a 100-bed hospital setting, with an immediate start date preferred. This position offers 13 weeks or more of assignment duration, providing an excellent chance to gain experience in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and review medications accurately to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
• Monitor patient outcomes and provide drug information as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to obtain an Act 10 temporary license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work variable day and afternoon shifts of 8 hours each
