A skilled Staff Pharmacist position is available for a contract opportunity in Fishersville, VA, focused primarily on supporting the main inpatient pharmacy operations. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and offers the chance to apply expertise in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders with accuracy and attention to patient safety
• Perform all other standard inpatient pharmacy duties, ensuring effective medication management and compliance
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in the inpatient setting to support optimal pharmaceutical care
• Utilize Meditech software to process and document pharmacy activities efficiently
• Provide coverage across various schedules, including travel assignments to TTH or DH locations

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active and valid pharmacist licensure with experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy
• Proven ability to verify IV preparations and handle complex pharmaceutical tasks
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar pharmacy information systems
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to varied and flexible work hours
