A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist providing per diem outpatient coverage in Webster City, IA. This role supports a low volume outpatient pharmacy, handling prescription verification and patient counseling with a focus on quality and safety.
Shift Dates and Hours:
- June 12: 8 AM – 5 PM
- June 18-19 (no technician support): 8 AM – 5 PM
- July 17: 1 PM – 5 PM
- July 31: 8 AM – 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify approximately 40 prescriptions daily
- Provide comprehensive patient counseling regarding medications and therapies
- Perform standard outpatient pharmacy duties ensuring compliance and best practices
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Iowa Pharmacist License required
- Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Compensation is competitive and housing/mileage expenses will be passed through to the provider.
