Travel Staff Pharmacist | Wendel, California

A travel opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with strong IV compounding experience and a valid California license. This position supports medication dispensing and compounding within a hospital setting to ensure patient safety and optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Location: Wendel, CA
Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Duration: 13 weeks+ with an ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile intravenous medications accurately and safely
• Assist pharmacists in the dispensing and distribution of prescription medications
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical supplies
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and safety protocols in medication preparation
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide timely pharmaceutical support

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Proven experience in IV compounding within a hospital or clinical environment
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain strict aseptic technique
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills for interaction with pharmacists and healthcare staff
