A hospital-based pharmacist role is available for dedicated professionals licensed in Ohio with experience in clinical pharmacy practice. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care during night shifts at a well-regarded medical center.

Schedule & Location:

  • Nights: 7 days on, 7 days off (Thursday night to Wednesday night)
  • Shift Hours: 8:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Start Date: June 1
  • Assignment Duration: 13+ weeks
  • Location: Lancaster, OH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
  • Monitor and manage patient medication therapies ensuring safe, effective, and age-appropriate drug regimens.
  • Communicate vital drug information to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in emergency drug therapy management and maintain adequate medication supplies.
  • Oversee daily pharmacy technician activities to support patient care needs.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, quality initiatives, and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold organizational values including empathy, integrity, stewardship, agility, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Valid Ohio Pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Minimum one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and respond effectively in fast-paced environments.

Physical & Mental Demands:

  • Ability to exert medium physical effort regularly.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills are essential.
