Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in West Chester, PA

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist for a 4-week assignment in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, with a possibility of extension. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with core hours from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and there is flexibility for a Monday-Wednesday full day option from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pioneer Rx system expertise is required, and prior specialty pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and bill prescriptions daily as they arrive
• Perform prescription verification for all billed medications
• Support pharmacy technicians by organizing inventory and conducting patient outreach for home delivery scheduling
• Assist with filling medication orders to ensure timely distribution to patients

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience in retail or specialty settings
• Proficient with Pioneer Rx software system
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and coordination

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• Optional Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
