Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in West Chester, PA

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a part-time staff pharmacist for a 4-week assignment in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, with the possibility to extend. This role offers flexibility, with standard shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or an alternative schedule of Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately bill prescriptions upon receipt each day.
• Perform Prescription Verification Inspection (PVI) on all billed prescriptions.
• Support pharmacy operations by assisting with technician duties such as inventory management and patient outreach.
• Schedule home delivery services and prepare medications for dispensing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or specialty pharmacy environment.
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx software is mandatory.
• Specialty pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (preferred)
• Alternative: Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
