Staff Pharmacist - West Lafayette, Indiana

A professional outpatient pharmacist opportunity is available for a direct hire role in West Lafayette, IN. This position offers a Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule, providing a consistent workweek in a clinical outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Enter, interpret, and review prescriptions accurately.
• Conduct drug utilization reviews and issue resolution.
• Compound and dispense prescribed medications following strict guidelines.
• Supervise professional and support pharmacy personnel.
• Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage prescription filling for pharmaceutical preparations and medical devices.
• Submit claims for third-party reimbursement accurately.
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding pharmaceutical issues.
• Respond to pharmaceutical inquiries from patients and healthcare personnel.
• Monitor the storage, distribution, and usage of pharmaceuticals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Current, unrestricted registered pharmacist license in the state of Indiana.
• Clean criminal record with no felony convictions.

This permanent position offers an annual compensation range of approximately $110,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
