Immediate openings for experienced retail pharmacists to join a per diem team covering multiple Northern California locations, including West Sacramento, Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California (Redding, Chico). This role offers flexible, as-needed shifts averaging 1-2 per week across these markets, ideal for part-time professionals seeking additional hours.

Location: West Sacramento, CA (with travel to surrounding areas)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert dispensing and counseling of prescription medications within a retail pharmacy setting.
• Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians effectively.
• Administer immunizations as required.
• Utilize McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software to process prescriptions and maintain records.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• California pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience, including experience in opening and closing pharmacies.
• Immunization certification is mandatory.
• Proven ability to manage pharmacy technicians and workflow.
• Comfortable with commuting to various locations; mileage reimbursement available for travel over 30 miles one way.
• Strong references, including at least one from a retail pharmacy manager.
