Staff Pharmacist | Westerville, Ohio

This opportunity is seeking two experienced pharmacists to support inpatient hospital pharmacy operations. The position involves working in a hospital environment with licensed beds and a consistent patient census, providing comprehensive pharmacy services to ensure optimal medication management and patient care.

Key qualifications and experience include:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist license
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Computerized Provider Entry Order (CPOE) verification
• Experience attending codes and providing sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous compounding oversight
• Strong pharmacotherapy knowledge, including antibiotic and renal dosing expertise
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to support nursing and provider staff with medication-related needs

Responsibilities include verifying inpatient medication orders, overseeing compounding processes, attending codes, dispensing medications, and providing patient education. Supporting the pharmacy team with tech assistance such as medication preparation and delivery is also part of the role.

The facility uses Cerner (EHR) for order entry, with training available, and Pyxis as the automated dispensing system.

Schedule and duration:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Every 6th weekend coverage required
• Contract assignment from May 26, 2026, through August 14, 2026
