Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | White Salmon, Washington

A relief pharmacist opportunity is available at a 25-bed critical access hospital located in a small town on the Washington/Oregon border. This position provides essential coverage on selected dates with the convenience of no overnight call or weekend rotations beyond those specified.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately in a hospital setting
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Utilizing Cerner and Pyxis systems for medication management
• Overseeing pharmacy operations during shifts supported by pharmacy technicians

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Cerner and Pyxis technology preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different environments

Schedule and Coverage Details:

• Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Coverage Dates: July 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 30, 31; August 6, 7, 14, 15, 20, 21, 24, 25; all Fridays in September
• No on-call responsibilities or night shifts
• Per Diem arrangement
