Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Wichita Falls, TX

This role seeks a knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage in a closed-door pharmacy setting attached to a behavioral hospital in Wichita, TX. The position focuses on managing prescription needs with minimal walk-in traffic, handling approximately 300-400 scripts daily. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and dispense medications, maintaining high standards of patient safety and care
• Manage prescription volumes of 300-400 per day within a behavioral health facility setting
• Adapt to and utilize Enterprise RX software, with training provided
• Collaborate with healthcare team members in a closed-door pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Recent experience as a pharmacist, with current knowledge of pharmaceutical practices
• Availability for PRN or part-time shifts, particularly covering vacation and PTO
• Local to the Wichita Falls area or currently working PRN/part-time nearby
• Open to training on Enterprise RX software
