Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Wichita Falls, TX

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist to provide essential pharmaceutical services in a closed-door environment attached to a behavioral hospital. The setting focuses primarily on prescription fulfillment with minimal walk-in traffic, creating a specialized and patient-centered work atmosphere.

Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Type: Per Diem (PRN) – covering vacation and PTO shifts
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense approximately 300-400 prescriptions per day
• Maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care and compliance in a closed-door setting
• Collaborate closely with behavioral health professionals to support patient medication management
• Utilize Enterprise RX software effectively; training will be provided
• Assist in managing inventory and medication storage according to regulatory guidelines

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with a recent, active background in pharmacy practice
• Local to the Wichita Falls area or nearby, ideally already working PRN or part-time
• Comfortable with learning and using Enterprise RX software (training available)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in medication dispensing
• Ability to work independently in a low walk-in volume but high prescription volume environment
