Staff Pharmacist - Winston-Salem, North Carolina

This role offers the opportunity to excel as a Staff Pharmacist within a specialty retail environment focused on both sterile and non-sterile compounding. For those with a North Carolina pharmacy license and at least 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience, this position provides a dynamic setting to expand your skills and potentially transition to a direct hire role.

Location:

• Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break
• 13-week duration with chance for direct hire

Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and compound sterile and non-sterile medications following strict safety and quality standards
• Utilize PK order entry system (similar to QS1); training provided to ensure proficiency
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and possible side effects
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and the pharmacy team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina pharmacy license required
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience in sterile compounding is a strong plus
• Experience in non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Willingness to learn PK order entry system with provided training
