Staff Pharmacist | Winston-Salem, North Carolina

A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a rewarding 13-week contract assignment with potential for direct hire. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on sterile and non-sterile compounding.

Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in a specialty retail setting
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded pharmaceuticals following established protocols
• Manage order entry using PK software (training provided)
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and company policies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina pharmacy license required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience required
• Experience with sterile compounding strongly preferred
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Ability to adapt and learn order entry systems (PK training provided)

This contract role offers a structured day schedule and the chance to work within an advanced compounding environment. There is also potential for conversion to a direct hire position based on performance.
