Staff Pharmacist - Wisconsin Rapids, WI

An excellent opportunity is available for a pharmacist to provide essential pharmaceutical care in a 250-bed hospital setting in Wisconsin. This position involves working under a contract arrangement, with the flexibility of a travel assignment, ideal for pharmacists ready to broaden their professional experience and contribute effectively to a dynamic healthcare team.

Location:

• Wisconsin Rapids, WI area (Marshfield)

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Shifts alternate between 2nd shift (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Workweek typically begins on Wednesday

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a hospital environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for prescription management and inventory control
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to secure an Act10 temporary license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure
