Staff Pharmacist in Wolfforth, TX

Provide specialized pharmaceutical care as a Staff Pharmacist in a pediatric hospital setting, delivering vital support during the night shift. This role requires proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems, ensuring safe and effective medication management for young patients.

Location:

• Wolfforth, TX

Schedule:

• Night shift: 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Potential transition to day shift later in the assignment to cover FMLA through 1/13/2027

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and prepare medications accurately for pediatric inpatients
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage medication orders and inventory
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans
• Monitor drug therapies and provide pharmaceutical interventions as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory policies

Qualifications:

• Active Texas pharmacist license
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Previous inpatient pharmacy practice, preferably with pediatric exposure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Assignment Details:
