An established hospital-owned pharmacy is seeking a full-time staff pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients ranging from newborns to the elderly. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pharmaceutical services with accuracy and attention to patient safety, including allergy, drug interaction, and therapy monitoring.
- Supervise pharmacy personnel, including pharmacy technicians and billing staff.
- Ensure compliance with quality control, security of controlled substances, and proper disposal of hazardous waste.
- Actively participate in pharmacy-related programs such as the 340B program, antibiotic stewardship initiatives, and pharmacy and therapeutics meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical advancements through continuing education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and clean Colorado pharmacist license.
- Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience, with retail pharmacy background preferred.
- Leadership experience in supervising pharmacy staff is a plus.
- Familiarity with the 340B program is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate or remain in the Wray, Colorado area.
