A community-focused pharmacy operation in Wray, CO seeks a full-time Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages. This role offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, working 8-hour shifts in a supportive retail setting recently integrated with the local hospital system.

Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff such as technicians and billing clerks, ensuring accurate patient profiles with attention to drug allergies and interactions, and maintaining compliance with quality control standards and controlled substance security. The pharmacist will actively participate in programs like the 340B drug pricing program, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy and therapeutics meetings. Staying current with pharmaceutical advancements through continuing education and professional engagement is essential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Colorado Pharmacist License with no negative history
  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, preferably in retail
  • Experience with 340B program is preferred
  • Supervisory experience is an advantage
  • Willingness to relocate or remain in the Wray area
