LTC Staff Pharmacist | Wyoming, Michigan

This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist experienced in long-term care pharmacy, seeking a part-time contract role with a dynamic schedule that includes days, evenings, and rotating weekends. The position requires a proactive approach to comprehensive pharmacy duties, involving both supervision and hands-on responsibilities in medication preparation and verification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full spectrum long-term care pharmacy duties, including PV1 and PV2 roles.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
• Compound and verify sterile and non-sterile medications such as IVs and TPNs.
• Perform multi-dose and blister pack preparations.
• Utilize Frameworks system; prior experience preferred but training available.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan pharmacy license in good standing.
• Proven experience in long-term care settings, including familiarity with PV1 and PV2 responsibilities.
• Skilled in sterile and non-sterile compounding and verification.
• Competence in supervising pharmacy staff and managing workflow.
• Experience with Frameworks system is highly desirable.

Schedule:

• Part-time hours with a mix of day shifts, evening shifts, and rotating weekends.
• Start date available immediately.
