Staff Pharmacist - Wyoming, Michigan

This role focuses on delivering quality pharmaceutical care with an emphasis on sterile and non-sterile compounding in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Shift: Mix of days and evenings, rotating weekends
Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 8 PM
• Saturday, Sunday, and holidays: 10 AM – 6 PM

Core Responsibilities:

• Execute full-circle long-term care pharmacy duties, including PV1 and PV2 roles.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare and verify multi-dose and blister packing systems.
• Compound and check sterile preparations such as IVs and TPNs, as well as non-sterile medications.
• Utilize pharmacy systems for workflow management, with preference for Frameworks experience (training available for the right candidate).

Desired Qualifications:

• Michigan pharmacist license currently in good standing.
• Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy, specifically with PV1 and PV2 responsibilities.
• Proficiency in hands-on sterile and non-sterile compounding and medication verification.
• Ability to supervise and guide pharmacy technicians effectively.
• Familiarity with Frameworks pharmacy system preferred but not mandatory.
