Retail Staff Pharmacist | York, Pennsylvania

A full-time Staff Pharmacist position is available at a retail pharmacy location in York, PA. This direct hire opportunity offers an engaging role focused on delivering quality pharmaceutical care in a community setting. The schedule covers approximately 62 hours bi-weekly, with shifts on Sunday through Saturday, primarily during daytime and afternoon hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profitability
• Accurately weighing, measuring, mixing, and dispensing medications, including providing advice to self-medicating customers and dispensing non-prescription medications
• Maintaining open communication with healthcare providers and insurance professionals to facilitate seamless patient care
• Administering patient immunizations regularly to support community health initiatives
• In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, overseeing pharmacy associates by scheduling, recognizing performance, managing discipline, and assigning tasks to optimize team productivity and meet business goals

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License is required
• Pennsylvania Immunization License is preferred
• Previous retail pharmacy experience, including inventory management and patient counseling, is an asset
