This opportunity involves providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly, within a community-focused retail setting. The role includes supervising pharmacy staff such as technicians and billing clerks to ensure smooth operational flow and high standards of patient care. Responsibilities also cover maintaining accurate patient profiles with close attention to drug allergies, interactions, and therapy duplications, while upholding pharmacy policies, quality control, security of controlled substances, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
Active participation in programs such as 340B, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy and therapeutics meetings is expected to promote continual improvement and compliance. Staying current with developments in the pharmaceutical field through ongoing education and professional engagement is essential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, clear Colorado Pharmacist License with no negative history
- Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience, supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with the 340B program is a plus
- Willingness to relocate or remain in the area
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shift, 8-hour shifts
