A remote opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Billing & Reimbursement Specialist focused on telepharmacy services. This temp-to-hire role supports home infusion pharmacy billing and reimbursement processes for a Montana-based nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to providing home-based and outpatient care.

The Specialist will work remotely within Montana time zones (8 AM-5 PM or 7 AM-4 PM MST), managing the billing lifecycle for home infusion pharmacy claims in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Accurate processing and submission of claims, thorough follow-up on denials and rejections, and collaboration with payers, patients, and internal teams are key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit high volumes of home infusion pharmacy claims efficiently and accurately
  • Manage charge entry, claims submission, denial resolution, and reimbursement follow-up
  • Use CareTend software to support billing workflows and reimbursement tracking
  • Review payer requirements to ensure compliant billing for infusion therapies and supplies
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and denials promptly
  • Liaise with payers, patients, and internal staff to confirm billing accuracy

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of home infusion billing/claims experience
  • Proficient in using CareTend for billing and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple billing tasks
  • Effective communication skills for coordination with payers and patients
