Remote Pharmacist | Montana

This role focuses on pharmacy billing and reimbursement within a telepharmacy setting, supporting home infusion services remotely for a nonprofit healthcare organization based in Montana. The position offers a temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent daytime hours.

• Remote (Montana-based)

Schedule

• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM MST

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and submit home infusion pharmacy claims in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Manage the full billing cycle, including charge entry, claims submission, follow-up, and resolution of denials or rejections
• Use CareTend software to coordinate billing workflows, documentation, and reimbursement tracking
• Review payer requirements to ensure compliant billing for infusion therapies, supplies, and related services
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement challenges promptly
• Collaborate with payers, patients, and internal teams to maintain accurate, complete billing information

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in home infusion billing and claims processing
• Proficiency in using CareTend software for billing functions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under volume and metric expectations
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with payers and internal departments
