A pharmacy billing and reimbursement specialist is needed to support a high-performing revenue cycle team focused on home infusion billing and reimbursement accuracy. This remote temp-to-hire opportunity requires strong expertise in telepharmacy, medical billing, and RX billing functions, specifically within the home infusion environment.

Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in or eligible to work within the MT time zone)
Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours with flexible start/end times

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and submit home infusion pharmacy claims, ensuring timely reimbursement
  • Manage the entire billing workflow, including charge entry, claims submission, follow-up, and denial resolution
  • Use CareTend software for billing operations, documentation, and reimbursement tracking
  • Review payer requirements to ensure compliance and correct claim submissions
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement issues promptly
  • Communicate effectively with payers and internal teams to address billing concerns quickly
  • Support revenue cycle performance in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home infusion billing and claims processing
  • Hands-on experience with CareTend is required
  • Strong knowledge of payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-focused setting
  • Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving skills
