Remote Pharmacist | Montana

A remote opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Billing & Reimbursement Specialist to join a nonprofit healthcare organization based in Montana that delivers home-based and outpatient services. This temp-to-hire role supports home infusion therapy billing within a patient-centered care setting, focusing on improving quality of life for individuals receiving care at home.

Location: Remote (Montana Based)
Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM MST or 7 AM – 4 PM MST
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and submit home infusion pharmacy claims in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment
• Manage the full billing lifecycle including charge entry, claims submission, follow-up, and denial resolution
• Utilize CareTend software to streamline billing workflows, documentation, and reimbursement tracking
• Review payer requirements to ensure compliant billing for infusion therapies, supplies, and related services
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement challenges promptly
• Coordinate with payers, patients, and internal teams to maintain accurate and complete billing information

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in home infusion billing and claims management
• Proficient in CareTend software—experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a metrics-driven environment
• Excellent communication skills for payer and patient interaction
