Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Billing & Reimbursement Specialist to manage and optimize home infusion pharmacy claims within a nonprofit healthcare organization focused on delivering home-based and outpatient services. This remote, Montana-based role offers a temp-to-hire opportunity with a consistent daytime schedule and a chance to contribute to patient-centered care in both urban and rural communities.

Location: Remote (Montana Based)
Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST
  • 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM MST
    Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and submit home infusion pharmacy claims in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment
  • Manage billing lifecycle activities including charge entry, claims submission, follow-up, and resolving denied/rejected claims
  • Utilize CareTend software to support billing workflows, documentation, and reimbursement tracking
  • Ensure compliance with payer requirements concerning infusion therapies, supplies, and related billing services
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement issues promptly
  • Coordinate with payers, patients, and internal teams to maintain accurate and complete billing information

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home infusion billing and claims processing
  • Proficiency in using CareTend for billing and reimbursement management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a metrics-driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with payers and internal teams
