This remote opportunity seeks a Pharmacy Billing & Reimbursement Specialist based in Montana, offering a temp-to-hire position with full-time hours (8 AM–5 PM or 7 AM–4 PM MST). The role focuses on telepharmacy billing within a nonprofit healthcare organization specializing in home infusion therapy and related services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and submit home infusion pharmacy claims in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment
- Manage the full billing lifecycle: charge entry, claims submission, follow-up, and resolution of denied or rejected claims
- Utilize CareTend software to support billing workflows, documentation, and reimbursement tracking
- Review payer requirements to ensure proper billing for infusion therapies, supplies, and associated services
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement issues promptly
- Collaborate with payers, patients, and internal teams to maintain accurate, complete billing information
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home infusion billing and claims management
- Proficient in CareTend software for billing and reimbursement processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with payers, patients, and clinical staff
