A remote opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Billing & Reimbursement Specialist, supporting home infusion pharmacy billing operations within a nonprofit healthcare organization rooted in Montana. This position offers a temp-to-hire arrangement with standard working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM MST.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and submit high volumes of home infusion pharmacy claims in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Manage the complete billing cycle, including charge entry, claims submission, and follow-up on denied or rejected claims.
  • Utilize CareTend software to facilitate billing workflows, documentation, and reimbursement tracking.
  • Review and apply payer billing requirements for infusion therapies, supplies, and associated services.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement challenges promptly.
  • Collaborate with payers, patients, and internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home infusion billing and claims processing.
  • Proficiency with CareTend software is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of payer requirements related to infusion therapy billing.

Location: Remote position, must be Montana-based.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time hours: 8 AM to 5 PM MST or 7 AM to 4 PM MST.
