Telepharmacist | Montana

A remote opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Billing & Reimbursement Specialist with expertise in telepharmacy billing and home infusion pharmacy claims. This temp-to-hire position supports a nonprofit healthcare organization focused on delivering home-based and outpatient services across Montana, promoting patient independence and high-quality care in the home setting.

Work Schedule:

• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM MST
• Fully remote position (Montana-based candidates preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and submit home infusion pharmacy claims within a high-volume, metrics-driven environment
• Manage the complete billing lifecycle including charge entry, claims submission, follow-up, and resolving denied or rejected claims
• Utilize CareTend software to support billing workflows, documentation, and reimbursement tracking
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements for infusion therapies, supplies, and related services
• Investigate and promptly resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement challenges
• Maintain effective communication with payers, patients, and internal teams to verify accurate and complete billing data

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home infusion billing and claims processing
• Proficient in using CareTend for billing and reimbursement activities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
